Celebrate the bounty of the season on Oct. 2
Presented by the Willamette Valley Sustainable Foods Alliance (WVSFA)
We in the Willamette Valley are some lucky buggers. This rich land brings us an amazing bounty of fresh food, plus we abound with people who appreciate this food and know how to bring out its best.
The food and the people come together this weekend at Taste of the Valley, a benefit for WVSFA and FOOD for Lane County. Head to Expo Hall #2 at the Lane County Fairgrounds from 12-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, and celebrate the bounty of the season with local farmers, chefs, producers, brewers and restaurateurs.
Enjoy:
- Free samples of locally grown and produced foods
- Cooking demos by local chefs
- Classes and demos to help you get the most out of cooking, preparing and preserving local foods
- Kids activities
- Raffle prizes
Individual admission is $5 with 2 cans of food, and family admission is $10 with 2 cans of food. Your admission also includes one raffle ticket. Children under 12 admitted free.
Come enjoy the season’s bounty, and get your nom-nom on!
