Eugene Fun with Fermentation Festival Jan. 16

From beer and bread to kimchi and cheese, It's no secret that I'm a big fan of all things fermented. On Jan. 16, the Willamette Valley Sustainable Foods Alliance (WVSFA) will host a Fun with Fermentation Festival for all things fermented, including local, sustainably produced cheeses, wines, beers, kombucha, breads, and more.

You can also learn about fermentation through
visiting with the companies that are producing fermented foods,
including tastings and demonstrations.

The fermentation festival is also a fundraiser for
Food For Lane County.  Come learn about what Food for Lane County does
and how our local community is working together to help raise
awareness.

  • Brought to you by Willamette Valley Sustainable Foods Alliance
  • Where: WOW Hall at 291 W 8th in Eugene, OR
  • When: 12-5 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010
  • Admission: $8 for individuals or $5 with 2 cans of food. Children 12 and under are free
