Oct. 14 Eugene Smart-ups Pub Talk for Eugene Start-ups

Wouldn’t it be great if you not only had a great idea for a business, but you also had a group of like-minded folks (and even potential investors) you could present your idea to?

Now you can. Smart-ups is a new entrepreneurial support group for start-ups in the Willamette Valley. A local chapter of Portland-based Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) and co-founded by Caroline Cummings (also CEO and co-founder of OsoEco), Smart-ups hosts regular pub talks where local entrepreneurs get 12 minutes to pitch their business plan to an audience of peers and investors.

Would you like to present your business plan to your peers and to potential investors? Pub Talks will be held throughout the year in the Willamette Valley. The next Smart-ups pub talk will be held The Oregon Electric Station from 5:30 – 7:30pm on Tues., Oct. 14. Presenting businesses have already been selected, but you are welcome to attend and get an idea of how the Pub Talks format works.
