Jodie and I considered tearing down the paneling and drywalling over it, but that’s a bit expensive and, well, we’re lazy. And have never worked with drywall. And don’t want to spend the money to get a pro. And… well, we’ll leave my (lack of) comfort level with power tools out of this.

One Response to Painting over wood paneling

  1. We have a cottage in Northern Michigan. Every room is paneled with wood paneling, even the kitchen and bathrooms. I have painted the paneling in the bathrooms and really like the way it looks. I am debating about painting the paneling in the rest of the cottage. What do you think?
