Ural - Russian Motorcycles with sidecars
I haven't talked about motorcycles in ages. Been too busy with that home improvement and mortgage thingie, I suppose. But — my photographer friend Jon Meyers heard about Ural Motorcycles the other day, and I am definitely intrigued. Russian, originating around World War II — and all with sidecars. That would definitely be a plus for riding with Jodie, going to the grocery store, etc. Hmmm...

Dunno 'bout Jodie, but I can certainly see me & the hounds on that magnificent beast ;) With leather caps, red scarfs, goggles 'n all!!!

Definitely! That's part of what I like about these - it'd be way easier for us to take trips. And I'm sure the knitter could crank out the red scarves!

This a great site for any motorcycle fan, it brings back memories of when I was a kid eing crammed into a freezing cold side car and heading off into Northumberland hills in UK.
Also an excellent blog
