Congrats, Leah, Amy & Pam!
Had to do this one all at once, and once all these wonderful women had their degrees in hand.
I'm very proud of all of you for gradjamacating, and so happy and thankful for your friendship. Thanks for keeping my world challenged, interesting, and a lot more fun. Good luck to each of you as head out of the undergrad real world, and into another real world.
That said, it's time to mosey over to Pam's for her graduation celebration. It's Irish-themed, so if you'll pardon me, I need a pre-shindig Guinness (or 3). Oh, and to get Buckley's soda bread out of the oven (to wait for the Buckleys, and Chris made his soda bread, as it turned out). Oh, and to get the (nah, had to go with the Tillamook Sharp Cheddar) Dublin-cheddar-and-Guinness beer cheese dip out of the fridge.
Let the commencement celebrations, well, commence!

thanks :-) let us know how the party went ^^

Long. Fun. But damn... Buckley and Jamie wound up coming down from Salem, so we all rode over together. Heaps of food, plus a bit of an Irish-style jam session with guitars, bagpipes, fiddles, bhorans...
In honor of school being out, someone also brought a physics textbook. We had a small fire going, and we burned the book, page by page. Often by making paper airplanes and throwing them into the fire.
And then, suddenly, it was 1 a.m. It's going to be a LONG day....
It was a good time though.
