10% of the market is on Fire...fox

One caveat is that the study referred to below doesn't take into account Safari. On the plus side, the old Netscape 4x browsers are becoming even more irrelevant. As for our dear Firefox horse though, remember that this browser has been out about, oh, 6 months now. And it's gained 10% of the market. Version 7 won't be lucky for Microsoft. Mozilla is on the go:

"Firefox's share of the browser market share more than doubling its marketshare to about 10 percent in the first three months of 2005. About a third of those gains appears to have come directly from share losses of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, which saw a loss of almost two percent."

rock on, Firefox. I love seeing the proliferation. It truly is the best interface to the web we've had yet. And only at v1.0.3. Sweet!!!

Amen to that. Just thinking of surfing a different browser makes me nauseous - it amazes me how important Firefox has become to me. Extensions especially... mmmm... extensions...
